Go-3D 2009

On August 31, 2009 the conference "Go-3D 2009" offers a platform for professional exchange and discourse between researchers, developers and users in the field of

• Hard and software for 3D graphics
• Shipbuilding
• Ship operation
• Marine technology
• Maritime research
• Port logistics

The conference is organized by Fraunhofer IGD and will be held in Rostock. FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS is member of the committee as are attendees from MAN Diesel SE, TU Hamburg-Harburg, Germanischer Lloyd, Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft, etc.

A series of sessions on the challenges and application of 3D graphics is scheduled along with a trade exhibition and a soirée for networking and exchange.

In conjunction with the conference, a "Workshop on challenges in 3D content for Virtual Product Modeling" is scheduled for September 1, 2009 in Rostock. It focuses on knowledge based engineering and virtual product modeling. The workshop is organized within the EU's 7th framework program and lists guest speakers from the Grenoble Institute of Technology, the Center for Advanced Security Research Darmstadt and Fraunhofer IGD.
