ICCAS 2009

FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS will attend the 2009 International Conference On Computer Applications In Shipbuilding (ICCAS) in Shanghai, China and present a paper on "Feature modeling and simulation-driven design for faster processes and greener products".

The 14th edition of the conference is scheduled from September 1st to September 3rd 2009. It reviews operational experiences from existent computer applications for the designing and building of ships and offshore structures. The conference covers a range of topics related to computer applications, i.e. programs and software, integrated systems, knowledge management, simulation and virtual reality applications, spanning from the design process, building and maintenance to innovation management.

ICCAS gathers professionals from the shipbuilding and maritime industry, namely shipyards, marine equipment and system manufacturers, engineering partners and shipping companies.
