New R&D project with TKMS

Continuing a highly succesful cooperation, Blohm + Voss Nordseewerke (TKMS) and FRIENDSHIP have joined forces again for a R&D project on hull form optimization. In the joint undertaking called OptiHULL both TKMS and FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS pursue finding best hydrodynamic design solutions.

OptiHULL's focus is the parameterization of monohulls as needed for the fast and effective generation and variation of hull forms. FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS contributes its expertise in modeling and optimization on the basis of the FRIENDSHIP-Framework.

The consortium involved in this collaboration comprises TKMS, FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS, and FRIENDSHIP CONSULTING.
