The next training courses to be held in Potsdam, Germany are as follows:

  • Wednesday, 10th of September, to Friday, 12th of September 2008.

The course covers an introduction to the FRIENDSHIP-Framework and includes geometric modeling and parametric variation, ensemble investigations and formal optimization to CFD in ship design.

  • Wednesday, 8th of October, to Friday, 10th of October 2008.

The course will give a comprehensive introduction to the FRIENDSHIP-Framework and covers Parametric and Feature Modeling for fluiddynamic optimization.

  • On 8th/9th of September and 6th/7th of October 2008.

Introductory courses to the FRIENDSHIP-Framework are given.

View some videos about the application of the FRIENDSHIP-Framework:

  • The bulb demo shows how a fully parametric model for a bulbous bow is applied to modify its shape. (6.2MB)

  • The demo on the Lackenby shift shows how a partially parametric variation is realized on the offset data of a container carrier. (8.4MB)

  • The demo on CFD results shows how optimization results are managed and used to select favorable designs. (6.8MB)
