Your Gateway to Simulation Driven Design
Container vessel rendered in the FRIENDSHIP-Framework and staged in skybox surrounding. The latter is provided with the latest major upgrade of the leading software for the simulation-driven engineering of energy efficient surfaces like hulls, pumps, turbines, rudders and turbochargers.
The skybox technique is frequently employed in 3D graphics to simulate skies and complex backgrounds. In the FRIENDSHIP - Framework, it supports context-based visualization and realistic image production. This helps you to set your design in a (quasi)realistic context. This is not just nice to look at. It connects your creations, i.e. the result of your engineering efforts, with reality. It bridges the rather technical set-up within the software and the oceans, the sky, the natural element, where your products should be, eventually and by their very nature.
A mouse click on the image activates a movie showing the container vessel in aerial view. Other projects of the FRIENDSHIP-Framework, in part staged in a skybox background, are accessible in our Picture Gallery.
The latest major upgrade of the leading CAE software offers - along with comprehensive 3D visualization - further enhanced functionality, e.g. coupling of external tools and programs, feature modeling and definition, parametric modeling, variation and optimization - designed by engineers for engineers. New developments in brief are available in our newsletter "The Fr@meworker".
