FRIENDSHIP-Framework: Application
The FRIENDSHIP-Framework comes into play whenever flow-exposed products require top characteristics, for instance high energy efficiency. Typical applications are ship hulls and their appendages, propellers, airplanes, compressor and turbine blades, pumps, volutes and similar casings, stirrers, diffusers, cyclones, fractionating columns, distillation and leaching towers, scrubbers, catalyst column heat exchangers. Virtually all functional surfaces operating in a flow regime.
The FRIENDSHIP-Framework is a functional design environment for
- Geometric modeling from scratch or from imported data
- Re-modeling of existing forms
- Variant generation
- Hydro-dynamic analysis
- Optimization
- Propeller design
- Turbine blade modeling
- CAE education at universities

The FRIENDSHIP-Framework aids turbomachinery design ...
... and the development of diffusors and other units ...
... for aero- and hydrodynamic applications —
virtually, for all flow-exposed surfaces and products, for instance tidal stream turbines
