Release Candidate 2.4 available

Currently, we are finalizing our new version 2.4 of the FRIENDSHIP-Framework. The latest release candidate can now be downloaded and tested here. Highlights of the upcoming version are:

• Execution of feature definitions has been improved significantly plus introduction of much more easier control statements (if, loop, while).
• Improved error handling in feature definitions along with complete debug functionality (step-by-step debugger!).
• Command snipptes for object creation and property settings are now available in feature definitions with a single click.
• New surface type: Developable Surface for geometries that need to be flattened onto a plane e.g. for manufacturing without distortion.
• New design engine: Design Lab for convenient creation of manual designs using sliders.
• Styles are introduced for the graphical user interface (GUI) where the new default follows the common GUI elements now.
