Two new clients in China
Two new Chinese clients are now using the design environment FRIENDSHIP-Framework for their product development. Wuhan-based design office China Ship Development and Design Centre, part of the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC), has purchased a perpetual license of the software system to boost its design work. Likewise, China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) has licensed the design optimization software.
With CSIC and CSSC, the two largest Chinese shipbuilding groups base their product development on the FRIENDSHIP-Framework.
Previously, Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (SDARI), the design arm of CSSC, had chosen the software to optimize their design work.
“The reason why our software is recognized by different types or sizes of users lies in its strong contribution to improving performance, good adaptability and high degree of user-friendliness,” said Mr. Li Zilu, FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS' Support Engineer and Business Development Manager for Greater China.
As part of the license package, Li Zilu is to hold a professional training for China Ship Development and Design Centre at the company's home office.
At the end of October 2010, Li Zilu already held a training in Dalian, China, before a number of local shipyards and universities in the city. The three day course conveyed hands-on experience with the software and best practice advice and was well received by the participants. More information about the software is available here.
