Arrival by plane

Taxi

Transfer from the airport Berlin (BER) takes about 45 min to 60 min by taxi and should be around € 70 to € 80 .

Please, ask the taxi driver: “Bitte fahren Sie mich in die Benzstrasse 2 in Potsdam-Babelsberg.” 

Public Transport

Alternatively use the public transport.

The transport time is about one hour. Please note: “Bahnhof” (Abbr. “Bhf”) is German for train station. Commuter train is called “S-Bahn” in German.

From Airport Berlin (BER)

You can use the free airport WiFi to look for the fastest travel connection on this website here (www.bvg.de/en) or follow the instructions below.

From BER Terminal 1-2 either:

• Take the regional train RB 22 (direction Potsdam Griebnitzsee) that runs around Berlin
  • Leave the RB 22 train at the train station Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (Hbf)
  • Take the commuter train S7 (S-Bahn, direction Ahrensfelde)
  • Leave the train after one station at S-Bhf Potsdam-Babelsberg

Or:

• Take the regional express RE 7 (direction Dessau Hbf ) that runs through Berlin city
  • Leave the RE 7 train at the train station S-Bhf Wannsee
  • Take the commuter train S7 (S-Bahn, direction Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (Hbf))
  • Leave the train after two stops at S-Bhf Potsdam-Babelsberg

Arrival by train

From Berlin main station (Berlin Hbf)

• Take the commuter train S7 (S-Bahn, direction Potsdam Hbf)
• Leave the train at S-Bhf Potsdam-Babelsberg

From Potsdam main station (Potsdam Hbf)

• Take the commuter train S7 (S-Bahn, direction Ahrensfelde)
• Leave the train after one station at S-Bhf Potsdam-Babelsberg

Arrival on foot

From commuter train station S-Bhf Potsdam-Babelsberg

• Leave the station eastwards, i.e., direction towards Berlin
• Under the bridge turn right crossing the rail tracks
• Turn left immediately and follow the rail tracks eastwards
• You are in the Benzstrasse now, carry on another 50 m.

It should take no more than 2 minutes from the station.

Arrival by car

• Take motorway (Autobahn) A115 (E51)
• Exit (Ausfahrt 6) Potsdam-Babelsberg
• Take Nuthestrasse towards Potsdam
• Exit Horstweg
• Take Horstweg northwards
• Go straight on to Fultonstrasse, crossing Grossbeerenstrasse
• Find a parking spot

It takes less than 10 min from the exit of motorway A115.
