Under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, the HOLISHIP consortium is connecting simulation tools with architect data from partners all over the world, to facilitate digital prototyping.
HOLISHIP/RCE is a framework that originates from the aerospace industry, which now is made available to the marine industry. Although the project is not completed yet, the current work status is a major step in the standardization of connecting design knowledge and digital components.
