We are excited to announce the first release of our online propeller tool. This web service is driven by CAESES® and generates solid propeller geometry by means of the famous Wageningen B-Series profiles. The shape generation is based on user input such as diameter, area ratio, vessel speed, engine power, propeller material etc.
The final geometry can be downloaded as STL or STEP file.
Alternatively, more advanced users can also run a second app on this website with more direct shape control. The app expects a set of geometrical quantities (area ratio, pitch, rake, thicknesses etc) to generate the propeller geometry. Again, the generated geometry can be downloaded to make use of it in other CAE tools.
